The 15SecondPitch™ for Entrepreneurs is specifically designed to help you create a personalized communications strategy and give you the tools you need to feel confident pitching your entrepreneurial dream to potential investors. The course consists of six 1-hour interactive phone sessions with 15secondpitch.com co-founder Laura Allen designed to empower you to pitch your venture like a pro. Your sessions are customized to your specific needs and geared toward turning your 15SecondPitch™ into the centerpiece of a confident and effective communications strategy. Throughout the process Laura is available to answer questions via email, ensuring the continuity of the learning experience.

Session 1 - You and Your Business

In Session 1 you will explore both your business and your personal and professional goals. The focus is on understanding what it is that you need to accomplish, what your particular strengths and challenges are as a communicator, and your previous pitching experiences.

Session 2 - Your Initial Pitch

In the second session, Laura will help you to craft a 15SecondPitch™ that can inspire you and others to get excited about your venture. The session concludes with the creation of a customized "test-drive" strategy for your new 15SecondPitch™. You'll identify "safe" environments in which you can take your new pitch out for a spin and get valuable feedback about what works and what doesn't. You'll also get a personalized checklist that you can use to make it easy to practice and share your pitch. The focus is on immediate results, and you'll finish the session with a pitch you can start using with confidence right away.

Session 3 - Refining Your Pitch

In Session 3 we will review your experiences practicing and sharing your pitch, and guide you through the process of continually integrating feedback from yourself and others to make your pitch the best it can be. The process is entirely collaborative and non-judgmental, and gives you the opportunity to explore issues with your pitch and/or its delivery in a safe and supportive environment. The session concludes with an updated testing strategy for taking your pitch to the next level with confidence.

Session 4 - Maximizing the Impact of Your Pitch

Session 4 integrates feedback from your second round of practice and testing to hone your pitch for clarity and impact. You will receive feedback on your delivery as well as suggestions for optimizing your pitch for networking events, meetings with potential investors, and ad hoc media opportunities. You'll learn what potential investors are looking to hear from entrepreneurs and how to keep your messaging tightly focused so keep listening and want to hear more.

Session 5 - Next Steps

In session 5 you'll generate a list of potential opportunities for pitching your venture, plan how to approach each of them for maximum results, and develop a specific timetable for getting out there with your new pitch and making something happen for yourself. You'll also learn how to effectively critique your own performance without undermining your self-confidence so you can use your experiences to constantly improve your pitch.

Session 6 - Follow Up

In session 6 you'll review your experiences pitching potential investors, identify what's working and what's not, and make adjustments to your strategy as needed.
